I'm Brandon Seamer, a software engineer. By day I build systems on Azure and .NET; by night I run this estate, coach a FIRST robotics team, and keep a long-running Pathfinder campaign alive. If you found this page from a resume or a message, this is the version of me I would rather you read than any social feed.
What I am about
- Building systems that are run, not merely shipped. The estate behind this site is a production system with one user, run to production standards because that is the only way to learn what production standards cost.
- Writing it down. Every decision here has a document with the alternatives that lost. Decisions that are not written down get made twice.
- Robotics. I coach a FIRST team. Watching students discover that the hard part of engineering is the conversation, not the code, never gets old.
- The table. A Pathfinder campaign that has survived long enough to have its own lore, and a Minecraft world I host for friends because renting one was more expensive and less mine.

This site
It is served from the homelab it describes, through an outbound-only tunnel, by an application I wrote for it. Everything on the public pages is architecture, never addressing, on purpose; the estate page is the tour. The same application has a private half, and it is not on the internet at all.
